5 Days to Go!

I can't wait!! Five more days! I can't even get work done I'm too busy thinking about this trip. It consumes my every minute... "will I forget something, do I have everything I need, will I take enough food, will I take enough money!" So far Amber & Jason have driven through Texas, New Orleans and are now in sweet home Alabammy. I can't wait to see them. The last time we all hung out was Christmas. I'm sure I'll have some pictures up from this week/weekend soon. Oh, and little do my friends know... I have a special surprise for them! I can't wait to show them - there will be some pictures of this little surprise for sure! I guess the next time you guys hear from me we'll be on the road...yay!

The Countdown Begins!

For those of you who don't know, I am about to embark on one great road trip! Four of my best friends (Jason, Amber, Dan & Keenum) & I will be venturing across the country in an RV for six days. I can't imagine a better summer vacation than this! Seeing certain parts of the country for the first time with my best friends and making lifelong memories... I can't wait! We leave on September 2nd and I won't return to the Magic City until September 11th. We are leaving Gadsden for Birmingham, then driving straight to Durango, CO. From Durango we'll travel to Zion National Park - from ZNP to the Grand Canyon - from GC to Vegas - then to our ultimate destination, San Deigo. We will then hang out in San Deigo for two days to see what SoCal is all about.

These are some of the best people I have ever met and I can't wait to see what adventures await for us. Since Amber & Jason moved in 2005, we all haven't been as close as we once were. This will be a great chance for us all to be reunited and for a short moment in time, just go back to the way things used to be.

I will be updating this blog as the trip starts and ends. I will also try to post pictures as the days go by. Given the people on this trip, there will not be a dull moment.

So, sit down, buckle up and hold on tight, kids. It's bound to be a bumpy ride and enjoy the Great Adventure of 2007 through the words of AC.....
